Structural Elucidation

Not all metabolites may be known or indeed characterized. Mass spectrometry (LC or GC and NMR are common analytical methods for the identification and structural elucidation of unknown entities in metabolomics.

As one of the most capable facilities in North America, Eremid™’s multi-disciplinary team has access to a range of state-of-the-art mass spectrometry and NMR platforms to determine the chemical structure of unknown metabolites.

Ultra-high field strength NMR is suited to characterizing organic compounds even in small amounts, is applicable to a range of matrices and is inherently quantitative.

Eremid’s NMR laboratory includes 950, 700 and 600 MHz NMR platforms, multinuclear probes and cryoprobes for extra sensitivity, so more than capable of supporting your high-resolution characterization.
